The figures originate from the USCIS processing-times service . USCIS controls the definitions, publication schedule, form and office coverage, and any corrections to the underlying information. For a time-sensitive decision, verify the latest result there.
What a FillingTide page records
- The USCIS form, filing category, and office or operations group
- The USCIS publication date and the date FillingTide recorded the observation
- The published 80th-percentile processing time and its unit
- The separate 93rd-percentile case-inquiry threshold and its unit
- The USCIS service-request date and source notes when available
FillingTide does not use user-submitted case histories to calculate these figures. Historical observations come from dated copies of publicly available USCIS information and are checked for consistent labels, units, and percentile meaning before publication.
Freshness and corrections
Every data page shows the USCIS publication date and the date FillingTide recorded the observation. Those dates can differ. A later USCIS value may already be available, so verify time-sensitive information on the official USCIS page.
If a historical observation is corrected, we keep its original date and document the material change instead of making it look as if the revised value had always been present.
Known limits
Archival copies can lag, omit a row, or reproduce an upstream error. Processing-time data is aggregated and cannot describe an individual case. FillingTide's history begins in February 2026 for some tracked combinations and is not a complete USCIS archive.
