Underlying source: USCIS
The figures originate from the USCIS processing-times service . USCIS controls the definitions, publication schedule, form and office coverage, and any corrections to the underlying information. For a time-sensitive decision, verify the latest result there.
Current ingestion path
USCIS currently presents an automated-request challenge to routine scripted retrieval. FillingTide does not attempt to defeat that control. For the launch dataset, our build downloads dated SQLite releases from jzebedee/uscis , an independently maintained open-source project that states it mirrors USCIS processing-time data daily.
That project is not USCIS, and FillingTide is not affiliated with either project or the U.S. government. The extra intermediary is a provenance limitation. Every detail page links to the exact mirror release used so discrepancies can be investigated.
What we preserve
- Mirror release tag, release URL, exact database-asset URL, byte size, and verified SHA-256 digest
- USCIS publication date contained in the row
- Form, category, office code, and source descriptions
- The original USCIS 80th-percentile processing time and its unit
- The separate 93rd-percentile case-inquiry threshold and its unit
- Service-request date and source notes when supplied
The currently published dataset uses mirror release 2026-08-06 . A successful future update must pass schema and coverage validation before it can replace this version.
Known limits
A mirror can lag, omit a row, or reproduce an upstream error. Processing-time data is aggregated and cannot describe an individual case. FillingTide’s historical snapshots begin in February 2026 for the launch combinations and should not be interpreted as a complete USCIS archive.
Report a mismatch to corrections@fillingtide.com with the affected URL and evidence from USCIS.
